If you lock any element in your newsletter template, they will remain in your newsletter to send next time you send the newsletter.
If for example you lock the logo or title of your newsletter, this logo or title will remain after you send the newsletter to be reused.
To lock any element, edit it & click on the lock icon as you'll see in the diagram below.
